I'm running WinXP and OE6 and when I download my mail the wIndow shows the mail down loading but no email shows up . I do'nt get any error messages. I can go to my home page "ATT.net" and read my mail, but if I close the window and go back it's gone...do you think it's an ATT problem or is something wrong with my OE???

Greetings, arjaydee !

Problem could be due either ATT problem or your OE.

1. Register an important send/receive library file.  Go to Start > Run and type regsvr32 inetcomm.dll

2. Check if antivirus email check is slowing sending and receiving.  Disable it.

3. In the account settings, Advanced settings, change the server timeout time from 1 min to 5 min

4.  Check with ATT Tech Support to determine if server is having trouble.

Best wishes!

Hi War1
It seems like the problem ATT was solved by checking the box " leave a message copy at the server". But the OE problem is still there. I did the "regsvr32 inetcomm.dll" , I'll have to get some mail to check it out...stay tuned......
