I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes they can be replaced.
Some are soldered on the motherboard, which is annoying, but it's still not a tuff job to replace one.
I'm not sure about yours yet, I'm looking.
Been digging and I can't find anything specific to your model.

We need a "Dell guy" to wander through about now..
the 2650 has it sodered on to the motherboard and i wouldnt suggest replacing it, you can try but there is a chance (depending on your sodering skill) that you will permanently damage the motherboard.
