encrypt file in green

We have a bk external hdd, I am trying to copy all the files to the new file server, some of the files are encrypted, I can not even copy them, is there a way ti fix this?

I tried to uncheck the Encrypt checkbox, but I am getting access denied...even I add admin user in security tab....thx

    I am getting this error:

    no appropriate certificate correspond to the selected user

    Accepted Solution

    You need to have the certificate that was used to encrypt the file. You may have to log in as the user that encrypted the files originally and decrypt them if the old server is still operational.
