How to calculate # of occurrance days in Report Builder

I am using Digital Metaphors' Report Builder for calculating equipment downtime.  I would like to count the number of days that a particular machine had downtime occurences.  I have the report set up to list the work order, the date of the downtime, the hours, and the reason.  It summarizes by totalling the # of work orders and the # of hours for each machine.  All I need now is to summarize the number of days that had downtime occurences for a particular machine.  I am not a programmer, but I am usually good at following instructions!  Anyone out there that can help me?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Just create a new query and use the data returned from it to populate a DBText.

SELECT       count(distinct downdate)
FROM       downtime
WHERE      machineno = :MachineNo
