Looking for dynamic Photo Viewer

I am a real estate agent, and have created a website using Dreamweaver 8, ASP Classic/VBscript. For each of my homes, I have a folder (named with a unique Listing ID) that contains photos and thumbnails. I would like to create an ASP page that would accept a Listing ID from a querystring, and display the thumbnails in the corresponding home's folder. When clicked on, the larger image would display on the same page. Clicking another thumbnail would cause the large photo to be replaced with the new large image.

The trick for me is that the number of photos will vary for each listing, and I can't figure out how to handle it. There are several programs, scripts and extensions that will create a photo gallery for you, but they all seem to make you identify the photos ahead of time.

If anyone knows of an off-the-shelf solution, I'd love to hear about it. Or if you can give me some direction on how to code one myself. I am assuming I'll need to use the Files System Object, but that's as far as I can go...

Thanks for any advice,

Tom

Tom,

I'd highly recommend taking a look at Picture It, by Katy Whitton (http://www.katywhitton.com/downloads/PictureIt!/index.asp). It makes a great starting point. As is, it basically displays your full-size files as thumbnails, but I have taken it and modified in various ways for different sites - including tinkering with paths so it pulls thumbnails from one directory and full-size images from another. Note that it's not for commercial use - but email Katy and I'm sure a small donation will go a long way :)

A couple of others, also easy to set up to meet your needs:
Easy Gal: http://code.alicolville.co.uk/
Matterdaddy ASP Album: http://www.matterdaddy.com/4/scripts/index.php

Cheers,
