I discovered that the problem was caused by a dependent DLL from the main Addin DLL - vbvm60.dll was not in the users system32 directory. I copied this across, registered it and everything then worked.

I have developed an Addin for Word and it has installed and worked on every machine I have put it on, except one.<br />

The message I get is: 'Dllname.dll is not a valid Office Addin' when I try to 'Add' the dll to the COM Addins dialog in Word.<br />

Where dllname.dll is the actual name of the DLL.<br />
<br />

Has anybody had this problem and solved it? There are a lot of points on this because it is v. urgent.<br />
