Execute a DTS Package from QA

Hi there,

I have a DTS package called: ImportNewFSLData. How do I execute this from a script I have in QA?

Cheers,

The simplest way:
schedule the dts package, go to the job and remove the schedule, and in the QA just start the job using:
sp_start_job 'job_name'

with the scheduled job, you can see how you could start the dts via QA: the job contains the command line (DTSRUN.EXE ...), use xp_cmdshell to run that command from QA.

schedule the dts package - DONE
go to the job and remove the schedule - Where is the 'Job'?

Sorry, acting like a REAL novice...

in the enterprise Manager, find the SQL Server Agent folder, below that you have jobs...
