Verizon DSL workgroup communication error
I have a home network comprised of the following...
Verizon DSL access through Westell router.
Workstation 1 (running XP Pro) OS is connected directly to Westell router via ethernet cable
Laptop (running XP Pro) connects to Westell router via 802.11g wireless
Workstation 2 (running XP Home) connects to Westell router via 802.11g wireless
All 3 units are a member of the myhome.westell.com workgroup that was setup on the Westell router, but when you ping from any of them the command fails.
On workstation 1 all 3 machines are visible when in view workgroup computers.
Looking for suggestion on how to resolve connectivity issue so that user can share resources, i.e. printers, faxes.
