Problems remotely logging into Server, receiving Terminal Services error message

When I am trying to remotely log onto the server I receive the following error "To log on to this remote computer, you must be granted the Allow log on through Terminal Services right. By default, members of the Remote Desktop Users Group have this right. If you are not a member of the Remote Desktop Users Group or another group has this right, or if the Remote Desktop Users Group does not have this right, you must be granted this right manually."  We had this problem resolved but it started again 24 hours later.  Any ideas?

Are you using restricted groups for whatever group you added the user account to grant access?

No, there are no restricted groups.

All of the user accounts are part of the remote desktop users.  Also the the remote desktop user group has the right to  "Allow Logon through terminal services".  I am able to remotely connect into every other computer on the network including the other 2 servers, Domain Controller and Exchange.  The server I am receiving this error message for is the Terminal Server.  Hope this helps.

We just had the exact same error on a webserver. The problem was that the webserver was installed as a Terminal Server and not in Remote Administration mode and after 180 days the Terminal Server stops working if it cannot find the licensing server. We solved the problem by uninstalling Terminal Server (Control panel, Add/Remove Programs, Windows Components).

If your server is supposed to be a Terminal Server, make sure it can connect to the licensing server.
