switching from local profile to roaming profiles - nt working
I have several users using local profiles. I have entered the path \\server\profiles$ in the users profile.
I thought that XP would then see the path at next logon and first use the local profile then when logging out write back this profile to the server
It is not writing back to the server.
If I create a new user and set its profile path before logging in then the roaming profile is created.
Any ideas?

Creating ROAMING PROFILES on an SBS is a bit tricky... but you can find the instructions for doing so here: http://sbsurl.com/postinstall. Be sure to follow the section on configuring the DFS share as well, which is required in order to make this work.
