Hi all, I would really like to develop my own web based Client management system, or at the very least find an open source product that can be easily modified. I have not got huge programming knowledge but can find my way round databases and create websites using dreamweaver. I also have some knowledge of open xchange (bit too heavy) and linux. Any suggestions regarding suitable software to use or open source products to mod would be appreciated.

Sugar CRM http://www.sugarcrm.org/ seems to be making some waves in the industry, I'm still evaluating myself so I can't say more
yet.

I suppose my stingy points allocation resulted in only one response. However I only needed a few links not a great technical debate. Very grateful to you wnross (bill) sugarcrm is interesting.

Hmm, I didn't get any feedback, did my response warrant a "C" ?

You could also look at http://www.sql-ledger.org/, at least for online accounting.

definately worth a C or more Bill, sorry I did not put a feedback grade in. Can I do this retrospectively? Or do I just take the slapped wrist and learn for next time?

Grading Guidelines:  http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/help.jsp#hi73
    *  A: The Expert(s) either provided you with a thorough answer or they provided you with a link to information that thoroughly answered your question. An "A" can also be given to any answer that you found informative or enlightening beyond the direct question that you asked.
    * B: The Expert(s) provided an acceptable solution, or a link to an acceptable solution, that you were able to use, although you may have needed a bit more information to complete the task.
    * C: Because Experts' reliability are often judged by their grading records, many Experts would like the opportunity to clarify if you have questions about their solutions. If you have given the Expert(s) ample time to respond to your clarification posts and you have responded to each of their posts providing requested information; or if the answers, after clarification, lack finality or do not completely address the issue presented, then a "C" grade is an option. You also have the option here of just asking Community Support to delete the question.

You can also request an adjustment by posting to Community Support http://www.experts-exchange.com/Community_Support/

Cheers,
-Bill
