It's an odd question.  I would recommend a desktop model form factor for a home network - unless you have a comm rack in a closet somewhere ;).

NFR key for Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365

Veeam is happy to provide a free NFR license (for 1 year, up to 10 users). This license allows for the non‑production use of Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 in your home lab without any feature limitations.

Thanks - but why the C grade?  You were asking for what form factor.  Did you want make & model?

Rack mount Vs Desktop doesn't matter.

Home netowrk was to let you know it was going to have SMALL amounts of traffic.  Needed 16 ports and must have small for mfactor.  Yes was looking for make and model.

Form factor normally means - the size and shape of the case.  SFF - small form factor - very small case.

I happen to like Linksys gear.  I haven't used a 16 port Gig switch at home, but these look fine:

SR2016 & SRW2016.

The "W" gives you "WebView" which is a web based graphical management utility - but it's about $75 more.  I think it's worth it.  The SR2016 looks to be about $250 and the SRW2016 about $325.

Hope this helps.
