Hi there,
I´m not sure if this is the correct place to post this but:

I have finally managed to locate my php.ini file using putty and the command locate php.ini and it tells me that i have two located at:

my question is how do i copy these files to my computer, modify (i would image in notepad), and them reupload them to the server.

I need to make sure that my mail_sendto function is set properly as i´m having problems with a php script that i´m working on.

Any help much appreciated.

You could use WinSCP http://winscp.net/eng/index.php this would connect to your SSH server and downlaod
the file via SSH's secure FTP.

If you dont want to downlaod the file you can use the following editors pico or vi e.g.

pico php.ini
vi php.ini
