Error opening Tiff image

Hello,

I am getting the following error message when I try to open a TIFF image.  I am launching the image file in Microsof's image viewer.  Does any know what could be causing this problem?

Error :  The document's format is invalid or not supported.

Thanks

Greetings, boydosborne !

Try to view the Tiff file with this free image view, Irfanview
http://www.irfanview.com/

The Tiff file could be corrupt.  In such ask for a good Tiff file.

Best wishes!

Thank you.  I started to put it there, but I was not sure if the graphics was only for web development.

Thanks again.

I was able to open the image file, but it only displays a black image.  Could this habve been impacted by the fact that there was not compression on the image when it was created?  Is their a limitation on the file size for a Tiff?

Thanks

boydosborne,

Glad you are able to open the image file.  Not sure why it is black.  You should not have to compress a Tiff file.  There is no size limit for Tiff file, but your email provider or sender email provider may have an attachment limit to cut off part of the attachment.
