Yes I did. &nbsp;Turned out it was bad hardware. &nbsp;I should have suspected as much when I had so much trouble just getting the raid to boot correctly. &nbsp;Next time I won't spend 8 hours before trying different hardware!<br />

Well, thanks for the grade - maybe it'll help someone else in the PAQ.<br />

Hardware issues (especially on new hardware) are often such a pain, because they can look like so many different software issues instead.<br />

No matter what I try, I get the dreaded &quot;device object not found&quot; when trying to install the SigmaTel codecs on the Intel 955x motherboard. &nbsp;I'm running the 5011 version of the Microsoft UAA files (from 8/24/04), which match another 955xbk system I have access to. &nbsp;As far as I know, I followed the correct procedure on a clean install (inf files, UAA driver, SigmaTel codecs). &nbsp;I'm ready to trash the mobo and call it a hardware problem, but wanted to throw this out there to see if I've missed something.<br />

Microsoft Windows XP is the sixth release of the NT series of operating systems, and was the first to be marketed in a variety of editions: XP Home and XP Professional, designed for business and power users. The advanced features in XP Professional are generally disabled in Home Edition, but are there and can be activated. There were two 64-bit editions, an embedded edition and a tablet edition.
