Between a hub and everything else: only half duplex .
Between sw and everything else than hub: just be sure same settings in both ends.

On a single Network, sure. Not on a single connection.  The duplex/speed setting on a connection from an end node (PC,Server, etc) must match the device it's connected to (Hub,Switch, Router).

The network may consist of many connections, and each of those connections may be using different duplex/speeds as long as they match within the connection.

    Hope this helps.
