Hello all

Is there a tool that can scan for all wifi channels, not networks.

In fact, i have 2 wireless equipments in me house (phone and camera) but don't know what channel it's using so i want to scan for them from my computer (that has wifi too)

thanks

I have not seen a tool that will allow your computer to scan for the devices you are interested in.

Although wireless phones and wireless cameras use similar frequencies to the wifi used for computer networking, they use completely different modulation techniques.

To scan for these frequencies you normally need professional test equipment that can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Lemaitre75, perhaps you can clarify your question: are you looking for a software tool that shows equipment that uses WiFi communications? NetStumbler or the Retina WiFi scanner will do this for you.

On the other hand, if you are looking for something that also scans other wireless technologies like cellular telephony, bluetooth etc, then this may be hard to find.
