browser automation

is it possible to disable the sounds in the web browser when automating clicking links. its very annoying, i wrote a spyder like app but it goes to 300 pages and its annoying to hear all the clicks. i know i could just disable this manually but id like to know how to do it in code if its possible for just that specific web browser control, the ie explorer brwoser control. thx
