ownership problem

When I create a file via PHP script the owner of the file becomes httpd. Since certain function like include doesnt work I need to change the ownership to <user>. The problem now is I cant do it. There is no feature in the control panel to do it and I cant do it via the script. So I was wondering if there is way how the file ownership gets automatically changed from httpd to <user> or it will be created with the ownership <user> instead of httpd.

You will need to change it manually at a command line.
If your current host doesn't let you do this yourself, then you should ask them to do it - if they don't do it for you then get a better host.

What control panel are you using?
Does your FTP software not let you set permissions?

Thanks for the reply.  Yes, I have asked the host for the help but waiting . I have chmod(ed) 777 via the PHP script after file creation. Its the ownership that's giving the problem. Because the file created will have httpd ownership it doesnt take the include function. I couldnt use FTP to set permission via windows but I got help to get it done via linux and the suid for the file with the file creation script was set to 4755 but it didnt work. So lets see what response I get from the host.
