You've apparently had a failed flash. &nbsp;Look on page 84 of your manual at the BIOS recovery jumper setting -- NO jumper installed. &nbsp; You need to power off; remove the jumper; insert a BIOS recovery diskette in the floppy drive; and power on.<br />

Hopefully it will successfully flash the recovery BIOS.<br />

If this doesn't work, I'm afraid the board is history.<br />

I just updated the BIOS on my Intel D865GLC motherboard. &nbsp;It went through the install process fine and I got a series of beeps. &nbsp;When it came back up, I got a plain black screen with a password prompt. &nbsp;I never set the BIOS password. &nbsp;If I hit 'enter', it just beeps and prompts again. &nbsp;I go through this 3 times and then get a hard lock. <br />

Also, I can't even hit F2 to get into the BIOS to set the password.<br />

Any help would be greatly appreciated...<br />
