Updated BIOS - Now Completely Locked Out - BIOS Password

I just updated the BIOS on my Intel D865GLC motherboard.  It went through the install process fine and I got a series of beeps.  When it came back up, I got a plain black screen with a password prompt.  I never set the BIOS password.  If I hit 'enter', it just beeps and prompts again.  I go through this 3 times and then get a hard lock.

Also, I can't even hit F2 to get into the BIOS to set the password.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

You've apparently had a failed flash.  Look on page 84 of your manual at the BIOS recovery jumper setting -- NO jumper installed.   You need to power off; remove the jumper; insert a BIOS recovery diskette in the floppy drive; and power on.

Hopefully it will successfully flash the recovery BIOS.

If this doesn't work, I'm afraid the board is history.
