Plantronics DSP-500 and SuSE 10.1

I am trying to set up my Plantronics DSP-500 headset with SuSE 10.1 but don't know where to start. Doing a Google search I notices that there are other people that have gotten this headset to work with Linux, but I can't find any information to do it myself.

Any help is appreciated.

I searched around a bit, and this seems to have all the necessary settings:

So long as you have alsa (which I believe you do with SuSE 10.1), I doubt you will have to install anything.

It might be easier to plug the headset in before booting when you want to set it up, just to be sure it gets seen.  Once setup, it shouldn't be a problem.
