ListBox Component V2 Tsunami/Elasticity

Hi Folks

I have populated a Listbox component with a XML data. I wanted to create a Tsunami type of effect/or Elasticity when someone rollsover the text and normal state on rollout.

Any tutorials/leads/code samples will be helpful

More points with AS2 code samples

Thanks

A listbox is a flash component and cannot be altered, try to create your own listbox control.  Anyways flash components are extremly large, I wouldent suggest you ever use them! :D

Well Venabili as you see the suggestion provided by Brett19 was not a solution but a comment. As you can see 500 points requires some kind of solution. Also it is wrong to say that Flash component cannot be altered, as i managed to alter it

Thanks

THen please post how you altered it and you can get your points back.

With this piece of code you can actually change the hand cursor to show up in the list box

var myListRollover_Listner:Object = new Object();
myListRollover_Listner.itemRollOver = function(evt:Object) {
      for (var i=9; i <= (main_menu_array.length + 9); i++){
                  mainMenu_listBox.content_mc["listRow" + [i]].bG_mc.useHandCursor = true;
      }
};

No you can use the Flash transitions to do however you want when you rollover on a list box item
