Fedora Redhat

hello there,
I've downloaded fedora core 5 from fedora.redhat.com and now I want to install it.
What I wanna ask is that, I am using XP Pro Sp2 as well and I've created partition of 6gigs for fedora, will it be fine if I install it and is the installation is same like linux 'cuz I'd redhat8 on my pc previously. will i get a dual boot.

secondly , as I downloaded the files so I need to burn them on cds. do I need to make it bootable or if I just burn it and then run the first cd, it'll be autorun.

So long as you burn the CDs as iso's, and not files, they will be bootable.   FC5 is very similar to Redhat 8 in how it handles dual boots, so you should be fine there.  By default, it will recognize your Win XP, and list it in its bootloader, grub.

Fedora Core really is the successor to the Red Hat Linux line, just without the name, although with some development process differences.

as long as you install to your 6gig partition and let grub auto-detect everything, it should be fine.
make sure of course not to remove and delete the wrong partitions
