Debugger Locking Up

I have Error Trapping set to "Break on Unhandled Errors"

I set a break point and then start stepping through code. It seems if I dont keep stepping that the debugger (at times) will lock up on a function/sub.

Now I will see the line of code highlighted in yellow AND ALSO! the green arrow pointed to that line.

Every key stroke results in a <Beep> and even when i click start to resume execution nothing happens.

It is not just one line of code where the debugger hangs. In addition, some of the functions where it locks up have been in use for several years.

I think it's because your debug option is set to "Stop on all errors".

Tools -> Options -> General -> Error Handling -> Stop on un-handled errors

Then it should be all right.
