VB.NET Solution on PPC2003 Platform - Get me started

I know the visual basic language quite well, but I want to write a VB application for a Pocket PC running 2003.  I know I need to download the development packages, some runtime environements, SDKs and other stuff.  But there is so much junk out there I don't know where to start.  I just need to get as far as creating a simple "Hello World" Program on my Pocket PC using VB.NET and I'm sure I can take it from there.  What do I need to install on my PC and then my Pocket PC to get this to work.  Then what program do I actually create my code in?  Help me.

    1) What 2003 version did you get?

    2) Do you have the IDE?

    3) 2003 Enterprise Architect comes with the Pocket PC development project template.

    1)The units are running PPC2003 Version 4.20.0 (Build 14053).

2)I don't know.  Where do I get it and what does IDE stand for.

3)Isn't there some free way to develop for PPC?  I notice 2003 EA is at least $600.

    Accepted Solution

    1) Since I have Visual Studio.NET 2003 Enterprise Architect, I don't know of any other development tools.

    2) (I)ntegrated (D)evelopment (E)nvironment

    3) Quick search:

    Developer Tools

    Pocket C# development environment released

    4) Look for Professional or Standard, but I don't know if the PPC template comes with those versions.
