refresh jsp page once

Is there a way I can cause a jsp page to refresh only once?

I have tried :
<meta http-equiv="pragma" content="no-cache">
but it creates a loop.
Any feedback greatly appreciated.

    Javascript has  location.reload()     When do you want to refresh the page ?

    yes rrz@871311 is right.

    However, please be careful as it may cause an infinite loop :)

    I used this one and it works.
