Insufficient Memory

Using Outlook 2003 on a Dell Optiplex 620 (3 gig processor, 1 gig RAM, 145 gig free disk space) - when the user tries to forward an email from his personal files (pst) - when the email has attachments of any size (even as small as 45 kb) - he instantly gets an error message - "Insufficient Memory to Complete Operation".  Have tried rebooting to cure virtual memory problems, etc. but the only way I can get these messages forwarded is to save the attachments to a temp folder, and to then reattach them to a "new" email - forwarding simply won't work.

Would appreciate any assistance.

Thank You - Curt Czarsty, Phoenix AZ

Greetings, cczarsty !

Your Temp folder or Temporary Internet Files folder may be full. Delete the files from these folder and try again.

Best wishes!

Thank You for your response, I must say that this sounded promising.  I came in this morning, deleted the temp folders and temporary internet files, rebooted, and immediately got the same response when trying to forward an email with a very small attachement (any email with an attachment gets the same response).  I do appreciate the effort.
Greetings, cczarsty.

Does forwarding a message with no attachments work okay?  What happens if the user forwards a message with no attachments and attaches a new item before sending?

Cheers!
Well - finally I found an answer to this problem.  I upgraded both Outlook (to SP3) and the Novell GroupWise Connector to SP1 - this instantly solved the problem.  Thanks for trying, however.  I guess we can now close this topic.

cczarsty, glad you fixed the problem.  Outlook 2003 only goes to SP2.  Outlook 2000 and 2002 goes to SP3.

Thank You - You're right - meant to say SP2, but am just glad this worked - was really a challenge, and my email user was fairly upset at not being able to forward previous emails.

Many Thanks - Curt
Ok to refund.
Works for me.
