We received the WIndows could not start because of an error in the SW.  Load needed DLL's for Kernel.

We restored the 2 files (HAL.dll & ntoskrnl.exe) but still got the error.

We tried to reinstall 2003 but the system installed a 2nd windows in my d partition.

i've since tried to reinstall again and now i have 3! server boot option.   when i think i selecting the original os one, i get the msg Instruction @ "0x765fc477 " referenced memory @ "0x95fa66ca".  The memory cannot be 'read'.

I would recommend that you back up your data and format your drives, (all of them) and re-install.

that will clean everything up, and you will be much happier in the long run.

Depending on how much data you have, you can probably easily put it on an External HD, which by the way, have really come down in price.

    Good Luck,
