Cable Modem Connect to Cisco Router !!!

Hello I'm connecting a cable modem to a Cisco 2621 Router to a Cisco 1900 Switch to my PC.

1. With this setting I'm getting about 3Mbps Dowload Speed.

2. When I connect Cable modem to Cisco 1900 Switch I get around the same download speed 3Mbps.

3. When I conect the Cable Modem straight t my PC I get 12Mbps download.

4. I have tried all setting on the cisco router that I know to test: Fast Ethernet 0/0 and Fast Ethernet 0/1 both set to Duplex ( Full, Half and Auto ) Speed set to ( 100, 10, auto ) nothing seem to work. Anyone have any ideas..

Need to know how to configure Cisco 2621 to get the 9Megs download speed

Notice #2: With the switch and without the router, you get 3Mbps.  Sounds to me like the switch is the problem, not the router.  1900s should be able to keep up with 12Mbps just fine (and way more than that), but they are antiquated, ancient technology that few people will know how to troubleshoot well.

I would start by clearing the interface counters on the switch, repeating #2, and checking the counters for errors.  You likely have a duplex mismatch between the switch and your PC, or something like that.  In addition, IIRC only two of the ports on 1912s and 1924s are 100Mbps; only one device will be able to get anywhere over 9.99Mbps.

How many systems do you have on this network?
