Drag and drop files appear hidden when opened and closed with DLA fomatted CD-RW
CD-RW formatted with DLA to enable drag and drop. Save MS word document to disc. Word document then opened. When closed it appears as a hidden file. Going into properties will restore file status by altering check boxes. How do I stop this happening ?

When you format the disk, set the properties for the disk in Explorer/My Computer.  Be sure to enable inheriting.  I had to do this with HP's DLA on one of my older systems.  No setting changes would correct the problem, but setting properties did it every time, oddly enough.

Which DLA program are you using?

Sonic is the program I am using.

Not to be indelicate, but how did you get stuck with Sonic?  It's the Katrina ravaged Yugo, the Saddam statue in Baghdad, the Three Mile Island of the burning world.  I've yet to see a single instance of Sonic working as advertised - anywhere - ever.  Might I suggest a switch to Nero, or at least the full version of what you've got, Roxio?

I've had pretty god luck with Sonic. Sonic owns Roxio now and has intergrated the 2. Still need an answer.
