static ip natting

hi all,
i have a scenario...
- i have a xavi adsl router (model x7721r+)with static ip..assiged to it...
- my pc has 192.168.1.2 as its ip address..
- my gateway is 192.168.1.1 shich is my router and which also has a publicip assiged to it.

i have iis running on my pc with ip 192.168.1.2
when i try to access my iis webpage from outside, i get to login to my routers webpage...

I want to enable port forwarding..how do i do that...and also please tell me something about natting..in plain words please..am just a beginer.

so ...i want to view my iis webpage if i type http://staticip...but at the moment all i see is my router homepage...
someone plz help.

try a third party tool, www.gotomypc.com or www.logmein.com

the second one is free for a basic account.

On router I am sure you must have a configuration page which can forward the port 80 to your specific terminal.  On that page you can put in the static IP address of the terminal to whom you want the port 80 to be forwarded.
