microsoft office document imaging

So we need Microsoft document imaging so that we can edit documents that
come to us from the scanner. I read about it and it's a featured tool on
Microsoft Office. However, I don't have the original Office
disk.  What should I do about downloading this for two computers??

That's hard to do without the disc.  Perhaps contact Microsoft for a replacement media.  Just show proof of purchase and CD-KEY

let me ask you this.. if I have office 2000 and I have the cd for that... can I insatll this imaging add-on?  I looked on the add components section of the install cd, and I could not find it.  Also, are there some freeware apps that could do something similar?
