File sharing and server crash

I have a file server on win-2003 standard. there are many users connecting  to shares folders and working on files and saving files back and forth to the shares drives. in particular most of these  files are autocad drwaings.  almost evey week or every other week the server crashes or show blue screen and I have to restart.
most of the errors in the log files like this:
---------
event id: 6008
This event indicates that an inconsistency exists between the Browser service and the server service.
EVENT_EventlogAbnormalShutdown
--------

Any solution to this problem?

can you reinstall the latest service pack to ensure your core system files are working?

None of these are related to the problem. the problem usually take place when some of the autocad people is saving the  drawing to the network drive. So any ideas about file sharing and if moving/saving large files on the file server may cause such problme.

Anybody has more comments before I close this question
will repairing the system helps? such as reinstall and repair.
Any ideas for optimising file  server such as how to let the server disconnect the user if it does n't know how to handle connection or saving a file...etc instead of shuting down?

thanks
did you reinst the service pack?  if your server crashes unexpectedly - you could have corrupt CORE system files.. THAT could very well be your problem.

reinstalling the service pack is better than a reinstall repair. coz if it DOES fix your problem, you dont have to reinstall all your programs.

Do you mean to reinstall sp1. download and reinstall it even though more recent updates were installed.
Have you tried that and worked for you before?
