Hi Everyone
I need a VB6 solution to download a file from a website.
The website needs logon authentication.

Does anyone know how to do it?

Thanks

Paul

Hi,

Have you considered using the winsock control?

If the logon is The HTTP Basic method then you can add this to the headers:

Authorization: Basic [data]

WHERE [data] is user:pass base64 encoded.

Hope This Helps,

Jay.
