Images in a Grid

Hi TruGrid 7.0; and also MSFLEX grid...

I read the "previous" responses to adding an image msflex grid.. but I still don't see how that would work.  Here specifically is request:

I want to place an image into a boud/unbound grid - where I know the location of the image
(i.e. c:\somewhere\image.jpg  ) - and display that image in a grid.  Basic size of the recordset could be several thousand records... so if some has a better idea (am open to suggetsions).   We don't carry the image in the actual database; only the image filename/location.

So basically it would be nice if columns 0-X are bound and colum Y had the thumbnail displayed.

Private Sub SetFlexPic(ByVal row As Integer, ByVal col As Integer, ByVal PicturePath As String)
    MSFlexGrid1.row = row
    MSFlexGrid1.col = col
    Set MSFlexGrid1.CellPicture = LoadPicture(PicturePath)
    MSFlexGrid1.Refresh
End Sub

and use il like this:
  SetFlexPic i, 0, "C:\Add.gif"

bad Idea. loading so many rows (+pictures) will take much toooo long for the user to remain patient.
you should find ideas to reduce the amount of rows to show at the same time.

Thanks......
We are going to slow down the load to where we physically "page" - the number of records; (similar to the way we handle them in  asp.).

Thanks again
