There is a couple of things that you could do.  You could change the printer output to legal or larger if your printer can handle it.  You could as size down the font and rotate the column heading 90 degress so they appear vertical rather than horizonal, then slide the column line over to match the size that is desired.  Outside of those two ideas, I am not sure how much more you are going to get.

my printer cannot handle legal paper.
is not possible rotate because there are many rows in report.

When the cross-tab is a main report its work Ok.
Don't work well when a SubReport.

I used subreport because it's linked with main report  and need print a time for each  group chance.

I would like to know if is a subreport problem and if Crystal XI this is resolved.

Thank

In the designer mode, can you expand the subreport to the max of the main report and then do the addtional formatting that I mentioned above?

If you right-click and format the subreport is 'Can Grow' checked?

Have you tried LANDSCAPE orientation for the paper and the subreport?

Are you missing the vertical part of the report or are you missing the information that would otherwise be off the right margin?

1) The report is LANDSCAPE orientation for the paper to the main report e to the subreport.
2) I'm missing the part that be off the right margin.
It's printed 14 colluns and has 18 colluns to print, but is dinamic and can be have more.

frodoman:
1) the subreport is 'Can Grow' checked.

1) i change the column heading 90 degress so they appear vertical rather than horizonal, then i slide the column line over to match the size that is desired. The problems is the lenght of heading is less than details e don't resolved.

below example 9 first rows (has 30 rows) and 5 first columns
      001      048      049      050           051
Data da Entrada      07dez04      01fev05      28mar05      30mai05
Data de Saida      17jan05      11mar05      04mai05      06jul05
Dias de Criação      41      38      37      37
Intervalo Granjadas            53      54      63
Qt anual de granjadas            6,9      6,8      5,8
Qt de aves alojadas      24.648      23.939      24.540      24.500
Densidade = aves/m2      16,4      16      16,4      16,3
Qt de aves retiradas      24.008      23.369      23.690      23.962
Viabilidade %      97,4      97,62      96,54      97,8

Thanks

The only way to get the paper wider is to use a wider paper setting in the print driver.  Crystal except for cross-tabs cannot grow to the right and print the information that moves off the page.

I have the same problem as the person who asked the original question.  I can't find a way to make a really wide crosstab subreport print anything other than what will fit on the paper size that is defined in the main report when there is additional data horizonally that needs to be displayed or printed.

I've tried making the subreport really really wide by dragging out the right margin in the design pane.  No luck with that.

I've even tried making the main have the same crosstab as the subreport has so the main will know how wide the subreport needs to be, even that didin't work.

I do have "can grow" checked on the subreport, it has no affect.  None of the suggestions above willl fix this issue.  I've seen this same issue on other Crystal forums, but no one seems to have a solution.  Any ideas?

The subreport can only be as wide as the main report (basic page)

Can Grow is vertical only
