Offline Folders

I want to use offline folders so I can Sync a server in a different country once a day and then have my 2 users in this country connect and use this sevrer as a file server.

How do I do this, I can find where the offline folders are kept on this server.

Thank you

let us say you have a remote file server named "remoteserver". There is a share on this server and you access this sahre using the UNC path \\remoteserver\share. if you wnat this share offline then what you can do is.

http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/en/Library/af74d4f6-258f-477a-9d1c-2ca2b58860011033.mspx?mfr=true.
and is this client computer where you want the offline files a part of the domain ?

If both servers are in the same Active Directory, you can achieve that by creating a DFS Share.
Then you can set the replication frequency and time.

Otherwise, using simples shares and batch files, scheduler, robocopy or wathever, you can achieve something more or less efficient.

But this is always hard to achieve perfectly when users of both servers can edit the same files (conflicts rules).

Hope this help...
