Hi Fled,

unfortunately you can't

This feature was available in the Microsoft Visio Enterprise Network Tools add-on to Microsoft Visio 2002 and Microsoft Visio 2000 Enterprise Edition, but it was not carried forward into Visio 2003.

Based on customer feedback, we invested our resources in improving Visio's other network diagramming tools and in developing new features for a broad cross-section of customers, like the ability to track comments or publish diagrams to a Microsoft SharePoint® workspace. The network diagramming improvements in Visio 2003 include a new rack diagramming template, a new library of network diagramming shapes with a more up-to-date look and a consistent set of custom properties, and three new predefined reports for extracting data from your network diagrams.

If you need a tool to visualize your Active Directory environment, you might want to check out the other products that are available, such as the HP OpenView Smart Plug-in for Microsoft Active Directory. To learn more about this tool, follow the link in the See Also section.

If you want to use Visio to map your network, you might want to check out the various third-party products that are available, such as LANsurveyor for Microsoft Office Visio 2003 from Neon Software. LANsurveyor can help you automatically generate diagrams of your LAN or WAN. Network diagrams can include all of your IP-based devices, including routers, switches, servers, printers, SIP-based VoIP phones, and more. If you have access to SNMP-enabled routers and switches, LANsurveyor for Visio also documents switch port and router interface connectivity, so you can see exactly how your devices are connected to your network.

LANsurveyor is included in the Microsoft Office Visio 2003 Resource Kit for IT Professionals. To learn more about the resource kit, follow the link in the See Also section.

the resource kit comes at a price

an alternative which is priced in the same range

so in short no it is not possible, but if you have an earlier version then you can use that

hope this helps a bit
