On a 2U 2691 that has two built-in FastEthernet interfaces, can, say, the NM-2FE2W module be added to give it a total of four FastEthernet interfaces?  Cisco docs say the 2691 supports 2 FastEthernets, but does not say if more can be added or not.

I read the module as being how you can get the 2 FastEthernet interfaces in a 2691 that did not come with them built in, but I have a customer that thinks they can jack a module in for a total of four.  Hate to have them buy something they can't use - if you can find a Cisco docs that answers this specifically, please provide the link.

A 2691 will support an NM-4E for a total of 6 10/100 ports.

Isn't the NM-4E 10Mb?

You are correct.

It will support 1 network module, 3 WIC, and 1 AIM.

I do not see a module with 2 FE.
