Not in this topic area.
As the first effort consider putting putput of "uname -a" from your system, and asking in http:/Community_Support/ to move your question to different area.

Most likely UNIX.
On Domain Controller  you have to use Global Directory running on port 3268 for LDAP instead of default.
IRIX details are way too different form AIX ones.

And more on common misconceptions -
Samba and winbind are server software only. They do not integrate with system authentications.
Their presence or confih has no effect on IRIX's ability or inability to authenticate against Active directory

You have to install windows driver for SGI SAN.

SGI publishes docs how to get IRIX work with AD accounts.
