Automatically purge deleted items in Outlook/Exchange

I have a user that wants all emails that end up in "deleted items" to be automatically purged and not recoverable. These should include any items deleted manually and items that get deleted by way of BES.

Any ideas?

Cleared out of deleted items is easy enough.
Simply set the option to clear the deleted items folder when Outlook is closed.

Purging the dumpster is a little more difficult - in fact I can't think of any way of purging the dumpster. The closest you would get is to turn down the deleted item retention period on the server - but that would effect all users unless you could put this user in their own mailbox store.

I am always suspicious of requests like this, as it makes me think what has the user got to hide.

Tools - Options - Other, there you can set the

"Empty the Deleted Items folder upon exiting.

Also you can use SHIFT- Delete to avoid the moving into the deleted items folder.

Nevertheless, the exchange server will only delete them (overwrites them by new items), if the retention time for deleted items is set to 0 days (within the settings of the mailbox store), which affects all users.  If set to 0, the Mailbox maintenance tool will free up the store from time to time so that deleted mails can be overwritten

I'm not sure, if there is a really a direct way to really delete them, so that they are not recoverable in any way.
