Transfer SQL Data to remote location

Current Situation:  I have a HTML web form for contact requests.  Currently, the user submits a request and an email with all of the information is emailed to our system and then we pick it up and import it into our database (our database is not an SQL DB).  There are some data integrity issues with this system.

I'm looking for any somewhat detailed suggestions on getting this information (after each individual submission) to us in a better way.  Maybe trigger a DTS and put a text file on a FTP server that we can retrieve.  Not familiar with DTS or really any other method so I'm not sure how this would work.

Any and all suggestions are welcomed.  Thank you.

Is there anyway to take each record (which comes from each user form submission) when written to DB, convert to text file and transfer to FTP site?  Any information along this line would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Any reason that you cant write the data directly to the database from the web form?

The database is a remote database sitting on our web host and is not linked to our legacy database system. I'm looking for someway to export single records (at the time of submission) to a FTP site or some other location and retrieve whenever we want.  It could even be once a day and just retrieve a full days worth of records.

I just need some way to retrieve each record's data without using email.  Any suggestions out there with some detail?

Help please.

To clarify: The web page writes these records to a SQL database on our web host and then we have a separate (non-SQL) database at a remote location.  I need to get each record or even a full days worth of records (maybe text file format) to our system without using email.

Help.

man i think the best thing is to create triggers on your submission tables to populate the data into temporary table
at the end of the day transfter the data into a text file using dts.

so you will end up creating the following
1. Create trigger on your tables to move all the newly added records to temporary tables.
2. A Dts job which will execute on scheduled time to move the data in text file.
3. Another step of the above job which will delete all the records from the temporary tables for that day.
4. a windos scheduled job which will run after the above job to move the text fiel on the ftp server

Hope it will help you.
