Programs like those are seen by many as an &quot;invasion of privacy&quot; and by many companies as malware. &nbsp;Most servers nowadays, by default, block all html code requesting &quot;external&quot; images. (in this case, it is a 1pixel - all white image of a duck)<br />

Our mail server has been successfully setup to block several similar programs for the above reasons.
