Pictures imported into i-photo and need to access using Photoshop

I recently switched to MAC and imported my pictures into i-photo. How do I work on my photos in Photoshop?

    From the above link:
    "iPhoto isn't perfect, but the latest version, included in iLife, isn't bad. One thing you can do is go into iPhoto preferences and tell it to open your photos in Photoshop when you double-click on them in iPhoto. That will help make iPhoto easier to use with Photoshop."
