SSE2 Emulatlor For XP

Hi

Is it possible to get an SSE2 emulator for Windows XP for my AMD Athlon XP Processor?  I want to buy a program which needs an SSE2 processor, but this means I will have to do a full computer upgrade just to use this software program.

On the spec it sayd that it needs a 1.4GHx processor with SSE2.  I have a 1.6GHz processor without SSE2.  So was wondering if there is any way I can get it to work on my computer with Windows XP?

Thanks

SSE2 is basically just optomization instructions in the CPU. An emulator even if it existed would accomplish nothing. All SSE2 does is make certain code run faster in the processor. If your processor doesn't support SSE2 the code should still run, it just won't run as fast.

What kind of software is it? I'd be very suprised if it actually required SSE2 to even run. Most likely it's just recommending it and the processor speed for performance reasons.
