Quickbooks won't load on Windows XP Media Center Edition
I have a client with a Dell Inspiron E1505 running Windows XP MCE. She's trying to run Quickbooks Pro and it loads for a brief moment and then goes away.
Now typically I'd kill pop-up blockers, anti-virus, anti-spam, etc., yeah, none of that worked. Booted into Safe Mode, didn't work. Ran as Administrator (the user account is an admin anyway), didn't work. Booted into Safe Mode w/Network Support just for the heck of it, didn't work.
I can kill every process but the core system processes (explorer, winlogon, sms, etc) and still nothing.

Windows media is a TV-VCR-gaming-video-entert ainment system, meant for those uses.
IT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR BUSINESS APPLICATIONS !!!
QB is a full fledged business application. Tell her to run it on a BUSINESS computer, say running windows XP.
Then it will work flawlessly ... but NOT on MEDIA CENTER -- it is a home entertainment clone/duplicate OS.
