Secondary DNS as a Active Directory Integrated Zone

I have a network with 1 Domain controller. I just installed a second with Active Directory and I need it to be an Active Directory Integrated DNS server also. I installed DNS but how do I get it Active directory Integrated and updating dns?

it works along with the AD replication schedule, if both zones are integrated then yes, but it may take some time to replicate

you can force it under sites and service on the dc connectors

Hi LeviDaily,

how did you configure dns on the new DC?

just open up your dns console, right click on your zone, choose properties, and then zone type, check the AD integrated option

chances are it is already done though

it is, bt only when I right click the zone and press reload does it actually update. If I just create a new host record, shouldnt I be able to open the other dns server and see it there?
