windows pop-up blocker

even when this is turned off on my PC, I still get the (some content was blocked) or even the entire page was blocked.  deleted cache, cookies, you name it.  TURNED OFF this pop-up blocker and windows firewall (i use Norton's I-net firewall).  anyone know how to resolve this?  thanks.

It has to be something to do with the Norton Firewall.
Did you try to shut it down, just for the purpose of troubleshooting?
Also, try to disable norton when the sys starts up.
goto
start
run
trype in msconfig
startup
look for norton entries
uncheck it, you can always check it back
restart
try the sites again

I think you have problem with few web sites..

work around is
on the link
click with the [ctrl] key pressesd.

this will allow the pop-ups

No, it's not crtl c nor is it Norton.  The message is from IE and I have disabled that service in the startup and the tool settings....

I don't want the problem with a few websites.  When I am testing I want the site to download so I can estimate download time immediately - it will download partial content but not some, so there's no getting an accurate attempt.  More thoughts/ideas?  Thanks.
