I recently tried to install a friend's office 2003 and when I discovered I couldn't install it on another machine, I immediately removed the program and reinstalled my 2002 version. Ever since, I get 'operation failed' every time I try press send/receive. I can receive mail through tools menu, but outgoing mail with attachments will not leave the outbox--I say that b'c I successfully sent a msg without an attch via tools menu prior to setting up 2 more for mailing but with attachments...they will not work.
I've followed the advice of almost every article I've read, including several on EE. I've changed, deleted and created new profiles. I've uninstalled and reinstalled office and outlook. I tried scanpst from the common files folder. SO, I'm now soliciting help from the EE techies. Thanks in advance if you can help.
