I guess I closed that other question prematurely.  I do need to edit a bitmap file within the VS image editor, but I don't know how to open it.  Can someone provide me the menu commands or mouse commands to open the editor?

    Accepted Solution

    Hi ba272,

    2 ways
    1. if you add a new file choose bitmap and you can edit the bitmap there, be sure to save it will be added to the solution explorer
    2. if you already have an existing bitmap in the solution explorer under your project, rightclick the bmp and choose open

    hope this helps a bit

okay, I have the bitmap editor open and can use it to edit the image.  But I am having a heck of a time getting the elipse tool to do what I want.  I thought I would click and drag to create the elipse.  But that doesn't work.  Any ideas?
